Ipad Wall Mounting?
Why would you put an IPad on the Wall when its meant to be portable? Thats a valid question and we found that most of the time it doesn’t make sense unless you are using a specific app that requires a vertical view. There are obvious commercial business benefits for such things as Kiosk and digital signage. However consumers are now just learning the benefits of IPad Wall Mounting. We created the Pad Grip to meet mobile needs and the potential for consumer use of apps on almost any surface. Many of our customers have sent us uses of their Pad Grip and told us they would be less productive without it. So lets define Consumer use as also productivity in our daily lives outside of work. Some examples would be, Skype, FaceTime, Web Browsing, Netflix , News, Home Automation Apps such at Control4 and Crestron, Reading, Cooking and even games. These are all things that if using a mobile IPad wall mount could benefit and enjoy their IPad use more.
The Pad Grip can be used as an Ipad stand with 70 degrees of tilt and 360 of swivel. This is great for on the desk use but with the atlas or gecko you can turn the Pad Grip into a mobile IPad Wall Mount and IPad holder. When IPad wall mounting be careful to use the Gecko only on non porous surfaces like glass or plastic. If using the Atlas it can be attached to any drill-able surface. We believe its the best of the wall mounts for IPad out there.
It wasn’t to many years ago that we would of never thought about hanging a TV on the wall. Now we wouldn’t think much otherwise. The same can be said of smaller portable tablets. I imagine a future where we have many IPad Mount locations in the home. IPad wallmounting for the whole family. That being said it must be a portable design and not fixed so many users can use it. Soon Tablets will be a commodity item like TV’s. Every household may have 6-7 of them for App use. When that day comes Pad Grip will be here to help.
