IPad 1, iPad 2, iPad 3, Kindle Fire or other Android device implementations of tablet computing is far reaching in every industry. The consumer market is huge but the B2B market could be even larger. Tablet computers allow all industries to adapt to a multitouch interface that allows their products to be more efficient and user friendly. We are only into our second year of Apple's iPad but we know the 3rd iPad is on its way. Will it be called iPad 3 or iPad 2S who knows and does it matter? The bottom line is we know it will have more tech than the last model and Apple will sell millions of them. In this authors opinion this will be the year of the APP's that will drive sales. Tablets sales are already outpacing laptop and desktop computer sales. We are adapting tablets for daily use based on APP's that make our lives and work easier. We stood in line for Microsoft tablets back in 2006. We stood in lines in 2010 for iPad 1 and then stood in lines for iPad 2 in 2011. So why didn't we stand in line for Kindle Fire? Easy answer is we didn't need to. We simply ordered it on Amazon and it arrived like any other Amazon product. The Kindle Fire is an adaptation of the Android OS. It did what no other Android device has been able to do.. Sell and exceed expectations at a lower price point than Apples iPad 1 and iPad 2. So what can we expect the impact to be on other table...
